at your business. When I was just four I
attended my first funeral. It was for my
sister and it was held at your location
back in 1976. Since then, my parents
have used your business for relatives
over the years and in 2019 my father and
I required your services again, this time
for my mother, Leslie T. It was a
hard fought battle my mother had near
the end, we walked through the funeral
process somewhat in a daze. It wasn't
until months later after sorting through
all the 'other' challenging aspects that
we realized just how easy our interaction
was with Heritage-Dilday. It was clear
then, we didn't have to due much of
anything, our contact took care of every
detail. Our contact, Elizabeth Torres, was
everything you could want in a person in
a time of grief and need. We went on our
way as you have to do eventually and life
went on. Last August, my father George
T died suddenly without any
warning what so ever. It was a massive
shock to the family. Unlike with my
mother's situation, we had no warning,
no time to think of the next steps,
nothing but a phone call. From the
moment I had to start dealing with
'everything' I knew I had to start with
Heritage-Dilday. It took me two hours to
drive to Huntington Beach, when I got
there I called H-D immediately. Although
I heard during the pandemic memorial
services where backed up, I was greeted
with a calm voice that said they would
pick up my father in one hour and a half,
they where there in forty-five minutes!
That was the beginning of many quick,
professional and just 'easy' steps that
where performed by your company. After
that day, the only person I dealt with was
Elizabeth Torres. I wouldn't have wanted
it any other way! She took care of
everything. Unlike when my mom died,
my father wasn't here to help, but
Elizabeth was. Be it our questions in the
beginning of what to do or choices in
urns at the end, it was always dealt with
by Elizabeth; quickly, professionally and
most importantly with a feeling that she
actually cared that we got what we
wanted and had no concerns or issues
that were not answered. With any loss,
there is always concerns you will not be
level headed to make the best decisions
regarding your loved ones, that is not the
case working with H-D and especially
Elizabeth Torres. Sitting back now, I can
honestly say I can not think of one thing,
one situation, one issue that I wasn't

I had the distinct honor and pleasure of meeting Cesar Guitierrez yesterday at the first annual Victories of Spirit Golf event that benefits serving homeless Veterans. The event was to participate and support American Family Housing's initiative to help and assist Veterans. Cesar is a good golfer and great American. Arranging a funeral for a loved one is not a task any one of us wants. The emotions of grief and loss can be so overwhelming along with so many decisions and arrangements to be made. I must publicly thank Danielle and Joe who were invaluable offering comfort, support, and understanding during this difficult process. Danielle was wonderful - made all the arrangements for military honors, finding a bag piper, communicating with the church and cemetery for us. Joe was very gracious and helpful at the rosary/vigil. I would recommend this team to any family in need.

Heritage-Dilday made the whole process easy. They not only provided affordable services, but they went a step beyond. They did the coordination with the National Cemetery and clergy there, as well as, the funeral locally.  They are so caring.

When we called Heritage to take care of my husband at his death, we had no idea of all the additional help you would give us.  I don't know how we could have done all the preparations- not having a clue as to what to do! I thank you for all you did for us. Your calm presence was a gift. We felt a great sense of peace when my husband was finally put to rest at Riverside National Cemetery. His funeral mass at St. John the Baptist was beautiful.  We will keep you in prayers and remember your kindness and great efficiency.

February 17th, 2015, 3:24a.m. I am sleeping soundly and out of nowhere I hear my Mother's voice as plain as day, "MICHAEL, WAKE UP, IT'S TIME". I wake and reach for my phone as I do the phone rings: "Mr. Murdock, it's the Hospice Nurse, your Mother has passed away". The nurse was calling from Los Alamitos, I was in Huntington Beach.  When I arrived at Katella Senior Living, I saw Mom there, she had left this life for the next. The nurse confirmed with me who to call to get Mom ready for her burial. "Heritage-Dilday" should be written on the form I said. It is, and so the call was made once again.  In 2013 when Dad passed I called Heritage-Dilday and they handled everything. This time when the call was made, once again they responded and within the hour there was a gentleman there to collect Mom and take her away with complete dignity & respect.  Later that morning I received a call from Susan Robinson the person who'd handled Dad's affairs in 2013, she remembered me, and understood that Mom was to be buried with Dad in Arlington National Cemetery. She interfaced with Arlington, got me all the paperwork to sign and now Mom is awaiting her burial on April 1 in Arlington National Cemetery.  I cannot say enough great things about the level of services, the dignity, the respect, the honor that this team of highly qualified people provide families in their time of need and transition. God BLESS EACH of them for all that they do in life and in death. I have no more parents to bring them, but I do know that when someone asks me who I recommend, the only place I will direct them to is Heritage Dilday on Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach.  Thank you again for all the help with my parents who are both smiling broadly from the clouds.

We recently had to lay to rest a loved one and we couldn't have been happier with they way Heritage- Dilday Memorial Services in Huntington Beach took care of everything.  From the first meeting to the final service they were compassionate and helpful.  They will take care of as much or as little as you want.  Khari Knight was amazing.   Funerals are expensive but Khari gave us many options and did not try to do any kind of hard sell.

The folks at Heritage are so kind and helpful.  Lately I've been to a few events in their reception room.  Very pleasant.  and it brought back memories of when my dad passed away and Heritage were the ones to help us through the whole process.  They made it so easy on my mom and I was very impressed with their kindness and service.  Thank you Heritage Dilday!

I am so glad I used Dilday Heritage! They were extremely courteous & conscientious of our feelings at this time of sorrow. Funerals are expensive but 2 weeks later, I feel it was money well spent with them. And, having them 2 miles from my home was a HUGE convenience. Dorothy was so kind as to come to my home & sit in the room with my ailing mother & I to go over & sign the paperwork because I was not able to travel to their office due to a recent surgery. Everything was taken care of for me. When my mom passed away 2 weeks ago, Andy was in charge of collecting her body. He offered condolences & took my feelings into consideration when handling my mom's body. Which, by the way, he & his co-worker did everything with extreme care. They made me feel like this was their own relative they were handling. Andy had to call me a few more times to make sure he had all his "i"s dotted & "t's crossed & every time he offered sympathy, asked how I was coping, & offered his hand in any way I needed it.  After all was said & done, Andy called me one more time to see how I was doing. Everyone at Dilday Heritage was great, but obviously, Andy is their greatest asset.
