Silvana Maria Ranalli

Silvana Ranalli was born on March 26, 1934 in Collelongo, Italy, the third of ten children, to Romolo and Olga Rossi.  She married Anthony Ranalli, her childhood sweetheart, on October 28, 1962 in Tivoli, Italy and they shared three beautiful children.

Silvana attended law school.  After her father’s death Silvana became the family provider and worked as an assistant to the director of a major bank.  When she married Anthony she switched to her most beloved career, wife and mother.

Anthony moved his family to the United States (Indiana) in 1965 with their young son, Al.  In 1966 their daughter, Mary, was born.  In 1967 the family moved to California where their daughter, Kim, was born.  In 1970 the family moved to Huntington Beach where she lived until she left us on January 11, 2020.

Silvana lived for her family.  After Anthony’s retirement they were able to spend summers in Italy where she could spend time with her sisters, brothers, and childhood friends.  To all those that knew her, she was the most caring, loving woman.  She loved wholeheartedly. 

Silvana is survived by her husband, her son and daughter-in-law, her daughters and sons-in-law, and four grandchildren: Anthony Ranalli, her husband, of Huntington Beach, California. Al and Dani Ranalli of Irvine, California. Mary and Anthony Pujol of Huntington Beach, California. Kim Ranalli and Lars Nielsen of San Francisco, California. Grandchildren Michela, Carlo, Luca, and Leo. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, brother (Amabile), and sisters (Lucia and Ornella).
