Loretta Johanna Rickard, 70, of Garden Grove, California, passed away on December 5th 2018.
She was born to parents Walter Dorling Brady and Johanna Flora Brady, on June 27th 1948 in Long Beach, California.
She graduated from St. Anthony High School in Long Beach, California in 1966. She went on to study Accounting at Orange Coast College and graduated with CPA. Loretta worked as an Owner / Operator of Quality Automotive in Costa Mesa, California for 20 years.
She enjoyed taking walks on the beach, Shopping and spoiling those she cared about, Hosting Parties for Family and Friends, Volunteering for the MS Bike For A Cure. Spending time with her Husband , Children ,Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Going to Fantasy Springs Casino and Resort, Morongo Casino Resort and Spa, her favorite slot machines were Free Games, Crazy Money and Hot Tamales and yes she usually walked away a winner. She loved to take long drives and listen to country music, if she was home she enjoyed watching the Hallmark channels, and reading. In 2017, Loretta was honored with Top Female Business Woman of the Year for Southern California,
Loretta met Mitch Rickard in 1990. They were married on July 30 1992 in Huntington Beach California.
Loretta is survived by Her husband Mitch Rickard, Her Children : Trina Macias ( Steve), Jacque' J Gill Black, Brandy Lopez (Felipe), Candace Rickard, Sisters: Valerie Condon (John), Patti Sanford(Ernie), Katrine Kenyon (Steve), Kristina Ajello, Brother John Adams, Nephews: Sean Condon, Christopher Condon (Celine), and Matthew Ajello, Nieces: Tricia Black and Cheri Sanford, Grandchildren: Stephanie Alvarez (Salvador), Christopher Hammond (Jessica), John Black, Samantha Hammond (Anthony), Tylar James Woodward (Zoe), Alexander Macias, Great Grandchildren: Elijah Elizondo, Kylie Alvarez .
The family has entrusted Heritage Dilday Brothers with the arrangements. The Viewing will be held Dec. 14th 2018 from 5 pm -9 pm Burial service is scheduled for Dec. 18th 2018 at Noon at Dilday Chapel 17911 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach, Ca. 92647, Final resting Place: Good Shepherd Cemetery at 8301 Talbert Ave. Huntington Beach, Ca. 92646. A reception will follow at 10357 Orrey Place Garden Grove, California 92843. Chaplin Dave will officiate the ceremony.
