Frances Andrade

Frances Andrade, 85 , of Huntington Beach, CA , passed away on May 19, 2020 in Huntington Beach CA.
Frances was born in Huntington Beach, CA to Petra and Patricio Melendez on June 16, 1934 . She went to high school at Huntington Beach High School and graduated in 1952 . . She worked as a Comunity Liason for Oak View elementary school for 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, fixing up her house and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and friends . She received recognition for her work with the Oak view community and school and was honored by carrying the torch for the olympics in 1996.

Frances is survived by her children, son Mark Andrade (wife Laura) , Daughter Audrey Andrade (partner Jeff Perkins) , son Brian Andrade, son Jeff Andrade (wife Becky), daughter Alison Cefalu (husband Pietro). Grandchildren Jennifer Andrade, Stephenie Andrade, Shelly Hopper, Carly Barrett, Brianna Villegas, Kody Barrett, Gabby Andrade, Jay Jay Andrade, Pietro Cefalu and Stefano Cefalu. Great grandchildren Chapin Carter, A.J. Carter, Gavan Hopper, Luca Khalaf, Maya Khalaf. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Stephen Andrade.
