David Frank LaFontaine

David “Dave” Frank LaFontaine was born August 14th, 1963, and passed away on October 10th, 2018 at the age of 55. Although he was born and raised in San Francisco, he moved to Southern California when he joined the United States Marine Corps in 1981 and proudly served until 1993. He most recently lived in Huntington Beach, California with his wife and their two dogs.

Dave is survived by his wife (Jennifer), three sons (Joe, Mike, and Jacob), 4 grandchildren (Kali, Zoey, Zadie, and James), father (Frank), and brothers and sisters. He was retired and enjoyed cooking, fishing, playing poker, and traveling with his wife and family as often as possible. Dave also enjoyed watching sports. His favorite teams were the San Francisco Giants, the 49ers, and the Golden State Warriors.
