David Thomas Arias

David Thomas Arias, 53, of Anaheim, California, passed away on January 18, 2023 in Los Alamitos.

David was born in Los Alamitos to Kathleen Ann and David Arias on August 6, 1969. He graduated from Villa Park High School in 1987. David served in the Navy from 1991 through 1993, achieving the rank of Apprentice Seaman and becoming certified as a Surface Rescue Swimmer aboard the USS Peleliu (LHA-5). Following his time in the military, he had a career in the food service industry.

David is survived by his stepfather, Roger Elliott of Seal Beach; his siblings, Nicole Hardwick of Long Beach; Jennifer Elliott of New York City; Robert Elliott of Seal Beach; Megan Whaling of Huntington Beach; and Ryan Arias of South Carolina; as well as his nieces and nephews, Madison, Cole, Jack, Abby, Liam, Lucas, Hudson, William, Elizabeth, and Mary. He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Ann Elliott, and his father, David Arias.
