Beverly May Lewis Rowan

Beverly May Lewis Rowan was born in Long Beach, California on Valentine's Day, 1930.  We said farewell to her on March 23.  She passed peacefully and without sufferance, accompanied by her husband and her youngest son. 

She married Don Lewis in 1949 and had 4 sons.  The first, Stevie, sadly died at 3 years of age.  After Don's death in 2001, Bev found love again and in 2003 married long-time friend Jack Rowan.

Beverly was a strong, independent woman before it was even a thing.  She started her own successful escrow business at an early age and worked in mortgage before finding her forte as a real estate broker.  Together with Don, she took over struggling residential properties in Hawaii and turned them into successful projects.  The crown on her resume was as Director of Real Estate for the prestigious Kapalua development on the island of Maui.

Beverly is survived by her husband Jack, her sons Jeff, Don and Tony, Daughters-in-law Debbie, Diane and Marianne, and grandchildren Brian, Trent and Chase.

A memorial ceremony will be held on March 28, 2023 at 2pm at Heritage Dilday Mortuary in Huntington Beach.
