Arvilla Ann Warren

Arvilla Ann Warren, retired bookkeeper and long-time resident of Huntington Beach, died peacefully in her sleep on September 1, 2020 at the age of 83. 

Arvilla, known as “Rae” to family and friends, is survived by her husband Bob Warren, her children Tara and Robert, her grandchildren Sean and Darby and her brother Ron.  She is preceeded in death by her grand daughter Jewel Rose, brother LeRoy,  mother Rose and father Joseph.

Rae was born in Arcadia, Wisconsin on April 14, 1937 to Joseph and Rose Schlesser. She graduated from Wisconsin State College, Eau Claire in 1960, with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.   On June 18, 1961, she married the love of her life Robert T. Warren, a musician who had immigrated from Ipswich, England.  In May 1964 and November 1966, respectively, she welcomed her two beautiful children, Tara and Robert. 

Rae was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister, who loved to sing and dance, especially in her kitchen. She loved to cook and loved travelling to Maui, Hawaii. Rae was a long time member of the St. Bonaventure Catholic Community.   Due to limitations related to the covid 19 public health restrictions, there is no public gathering planned.
