Antonio Morales Laureano

On Wednesday, September 2 , 2020, Antonio (Tony) Morales Laureano, loving husband and father of three children, passed away at the age of 84.

Tony was born on July 9, 1936 in Bacolod, Philippines to Timoteo and Maria. He received his mechanical engineering degree from Mapua Institute of Technology in the Philippines in 1961, and he was a mechanical engineer for Fluor Corporation for 30 years in Orange County, CA. On December 21, 1966, he married Glory Baldomero Evangelista. They raised two sons, Erwin and Peter, and one daughter, Maryanne.

Tony had a passion for chess. He also loved to go bowling and watch old classic World War II movies. His guilty pleasure was to go to Las Vegas and play poker. He was known for his bad sense of humor, quick wit, his infectious smile, and his quiet spirit.

Tony was preceded in death by his father, Timoteo, and his mother, Maria. He is survived by his wife Glory; his three children Erwin, Maryanne, and Peter; his grandchildren Cole, Connor, Cayden, and Caleb; his brother Timoteo; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be announced on a future date post-COVID.
