Jerome "Jerry" Paul Jacobs

Jerome “Jerry” Jacobs was born on July 13, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on November 23, 2017 in Fountain Valley, California at the age of 94. He was loved by many and is survived by his wife, Dorothy “Dot,” son, Paul and daughter-in-law, Linda.

Jerry served in WWII and was an expert machine gunner and radio engineer. He retired from the Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant after 21 years in the military and was an electronics engineer in civilian life where he designed communication systems for hospitals and mass transit, among many other accomplishments in life.

Jerry’s life celebration will be held at the Garden Grove Elks located at Newhope and Trask at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 8. Military services at Riverside National Cemetery are pending.
