Araxie Josakian

Araxie Sousanie Josakian was granted her angel wings on January 27, 2017.  Her final days were spent surrounded by her family and friends in Irvine California.

Araxie was born in Aleppo to Flora and Hagop Sousanie on December 25, 1922.  She was married to Antranik Josakian on February 23, 1949.

For 40 years, she lived in Irvine.  She was a homemaker, loved cooking, knitting, sewing, and spending time with her family, granddaughter and friends.

She enjoyed riding on the back of her husband Vespa in her younger years.

Araxie is survived by her loving 3 children, son Pierre Josakian of Mission Viejo; son Zaven Josakian of Irvine; daughter and her spouse Georgette and Joe Ratanjee of Newport Coast and grandaughter Taline Ratanjee.  Her husband preceded her in death.
